The Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) Board convenes its monthly meeting to discuss the policies and regulations for the development and promotion of the maritime industry.
Agenda of the board meeting include the updates on the Philippines’ compliance to the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) audit findings, as well as the draft on the “Rules and Regulations Providing the Rights of the Passengers and Obligations of Domestic Operators in case of Cancelled, Delayed, and Unfinished/Uncompleted Voyages,” and the amendment to the “Revised Rules and Regulations on the Implementation of the Mandatory Minimum Service Standards and other Service on Board Ships Carrying Passengers in the Inter-Island,” among others.
