IN PHOTOS: Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) Administrator Atty. Hernani N. Fabia met with key officials from the Orient Register of Shipping, Inc. (ORSI) and the Philippine Register of Shipping, Inc. (PRS) on 21 September 2022 at the MARINA Central Office in Manila.
In the meeting, the topic revolved around the commitment on how to help the shipowners in the implementation of the recently issued MARINA Advisory No. 2022-46 or the revocation of MARINA Advisory No. 2021-62, which states the measures in ensuring the safety of ships under MARINA Circular No. MS-2020-01.
The ORSI was led by President Atty. Manuel Tiuseco while the PRS was spearheaded by President Engr. Rolando Abella. Administrator Fabia, on the other hand, was accompanied by Deputy Administrator for Operations Engr. Nanette V. Dinopol, Shipyards Regulation Service (SRS) Director Engr. Ramon C. Hernandez, Maritime Safety Service (MSS) OIC-Director Engr. Jedini Nur Sibal of MSS and Chief of Staff Atty. Jabeth Dacanay.
