The Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) has received a significant boost in its operations after receiving 14 units of Dell Computer Set from CMA CGM Philippines, Inc. The donation was made official during a ceremony at the MARINA Central Office, City of Manila on 02 May 2023.

During the program, MARINA Administrator Atty. Hernani Fabia expressed his gratitude to CMA CGM Philippines, Inc. General Manager Mr. Oliver Odeyer, who was represented by his Chief Financing Officer Mr. Jean Emile Bader.

Administrator Fabia highlighted the importance of maximizing available resources to enhance the relationship between MARINA and industry stakeholders, with the goal of strengthening the Philippine maritime industry. The donation of computer sets is expected to contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the Agency.

The ceremonial signing was attended by MARINA Deputy Administrator for Operations Engr. Nannette Villamor-Dinopol, Deputy Administrator for Planning Ms. Sonia Malaluan, Chief of Staff Atty. Jabeth Dacanay, French Maritime Expert Mr. Emeric Faure, Shipyards Regulation Service Director Ramon Hernandez, Legal Service Director Atty. Sharon De Chavez-Aledo, Management, Financial and Administrative Service Director Ms. Nenita Atienza, Management Information Systems Service Officer-in-Charge Lina Maquera, Shipyard Development and Licensing Division Chief Engr. Maria Teresa Mamisao, and other SRS staff.

This donation is a testament to CMA CGM Philippines, Inc.’s commitment to supporting the development of the Philippine maritime industry. With this new addition to its resources, MARINA is expected to continue to deliver its functions effectively and efficiently.
