A total of 27 Master Mariners took their Oath at the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) on 02 February 2024.

The following are the Master Mariners who took their Oath as Harbor Pilots on a specific Pilotage District, to wit:

Deputy Administrator for Planning Ms. Nenita S. Atienza fervently encouraged the new Harbor Pilots to steadfastly continue their efforts in enhancing maritime safety, ensuring the safe navigation of vessels in and out of our ports, and providing their unwavering service to the maritime industry.

Pursuant to executive Order No. 125/125-A, the MARINA is mandated to undertake the licensing of harbor pilots in the country.
