LOOK: 131 industry stakeholders in Region 10 participated in the MARINA-BEST Orientation, held in Cagayan de Oro City, on 08 April 2024.
During the orientation, MARINA Administrator Sonia B. Malaluan stressed the system’s importance in streamlining processes and enhancing transparency in maritime certifications.
Meanwhile for her part, OIC-Regional Director Juliet Nacion encouraged the active involvement of the stakeholders, setting a positive tone for MARINA’s digitalization initiative.
The event included a hands-on demonstration, laying the groundwork for full implementation by July 2024.
