We are proud to announce that MARINA’s Management Information and Systems Service (MISS) Director, Dr. Joseph Victor Generato, has been honored with the NEXT-GEN Category award at the prestigious World CIO 200 Summit 2024 Philippines Edition. The awarding ceremony took place today, 19 July 2024 in Manila.

This recognition highlights Director Generato’s exceptional contributions to the Agency’s ongoing digitalization and automation processes, particularly the MARINA-Blockchain Enabled Automated Certification System (BEST).

As a winner of the Philippines Edition, Director Generato will advance to the Grand Finale of the World CIO 200 Summit 2024 in South Africa from 16-18 September 2024. He will join an elite group of 200 CIOs from 50 countries, representing the pinnacle of global IT leadership.

The World CIO 200 Summit is an annual event that recognizes and celebrates the most innovative and forward-thinking CIOs from around the globe. The NEXT-GEN Category specifically honors those who are driving the next generation of IT transformation.
