LOOK: The Maritime Safety Culture Awareness Campaign Caravan, organized by the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) Regional Office 12, led by Engr. Bernardo A. Pollo, concluded with great success on December 16, 2024, at the Passenger Terminal Building, Makar Wharf, General Santos City. The event brought together key stakeholders, including the City Government of General Santos, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), Regional Maritime Unit 12 (RMU-12), and various maritime organizations.

The campaign highlighted the importance of maritime safety, passenger rights, and environmental responsibility. In his message, Engr. Bernardo A. Pollo, Regional Director of MARINA 12, emphasized the significance of public safety and expressed gratitude to the participating agencies and stakeholders for their support.

This nationwide collaborative effort marks an important step toward fostering a culture of safety, cleanliness, and responsibility within the Philippine maritime industry.
