PASAY CITY – The Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) has begun laying the groundwork for its priority plans and projects for Fiscal Year 2026 during its Annual Planning and Budgeting (APB) Conference, held on 04-05 March 2025.

In her address, MARINA Administrator Sonia Malaluan B. underscored the significance of the two-day conference as a platform for strategic planning, collaboration, and reinforcing the agency’s commitment to structured financial and performance management.

“This conference is our opportunity to develop well-organized plans that align with our available resources and procurement strategies, ensuring that our fiscal blueprint for 2026 is both practical and forward-thinking,” said Administrator Malaluan.

Closing the event, MARINA Deputy Administrator for Planning Nenita S. Atienza expressed her gratitude to the directors from various service units and regional offices, as well as the planners and budget officers, for their active participation and contributions.

The APB Conference was facilitated by the MARINA Budget Division.
