The Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) has achieved a significant milestone in public service, as it received no negative feedback on its service delivery for the entire year of 2024.

In a letter dated 6 March 2025, the Contact Center ng Bayan (CCB), the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) public feedback mechanism, reported that from 1 January to 31 December 2024, MARINA did not receive any complaints or unfavorable remarks regarding its frontline services.

MARINA Administrator Sonia Malaluan commended the agency’s frontline personnel for their dedication and hard work.

“Congratulations to all our Maritime Regional Offices (MROs), STCW Office, Manpower Development Service (MDS), and Domestic Shipping Service (DSS)—you are the backbone of our frontline services. Let’s continue this momentum!”

The CCB, established under Republic Act (RA) No. 9485, also known as the Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007, and further strengthened by RA No. 11032 (Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018), serves as a primary channel for citizens to report concerns on government service delivery.
