The Maritime Industry Authority- Region VII (MR07), led by Regional Director Annabell P. Lagas, held its final coordination meeting for the third leg of the Maritime Safety Culture Awareness Campaign Caravan (MSCACC) at the Bethel Guest House in Dumaguete City on 23 January 2025.

The meeting brought together maritime stakeholders to finalize preparations, including event logistics, program details, and contingency plans.

The MSCACC is set to launch on 31 January 2025 in Cebu South and Dumaguete City, aiming to promote maritime safety awareness and encourage safety practices across the industry.

These events are part of MARINA’s nationwide campaign, which began on 15 October 2024, to strengthen a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the Philippine maritime industry.
