Jagna, Bohol — Demonstrating its commitment to accessibility and efficiency, the MARINA-Regional Office VII (MRO 7) successfully conducted a mobile service event for maritime certifications and registrations on 25 January 2025, at Bunga Mar, Jagna, Bohol.

Organized through MARINA’s Panglao Extension Office (PExO) and led by Chief Officer Engr. Adones D. Andalan, the initiative aimed to provide the local fishing community with easy access to MARINA’s vital services.

The mobile service accommodated 25 applications for the renewal of Fishing Vessel Safety Certificates (FVSC) and Minimum Safe Manning Certificates (MSMC); 13 applications for the renewal of Certificate of Maritime Personnel Identification Documents (CMP IDs) and Seafarer Identification Books (SIBs); and

15 Blockchain Registration applications, ensuring compliance with updated maritime technology standards.

This initiative underscores MRO 7’s dedication to modernizing and decentralizing its services, making them more accessible and convenient for maritime stakeholders in the region.
