This year’s theme “Our Seas, Our Livelihood, Our Heritage: Connecting Lives and Nations” highlights the nation’s rich maritime history. For the entire month of September, the MARINA and other concerned agencies will be holding several face-to-face and virtual activities designed to inform the general public about the Philippines’ maritime and archipelagic features.

 Message from President of the Philippines Rodrigo Roa Duterte on the celebration of the Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo). #MANAMo2021 In 2017, President Duterte signed Proclamation No. 316 declaring every ninth month of the year as “Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month” or MANA Mo to raise awareness on the country’s vast maritime domains and its potentials among Filipinos.
