PASAY CITY – The Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) has laid out plans and programs for the succeeding years, particularly those enclosed in its Strategic Voyage Plan 2023-2024 during the second day of 2022 Year-End Performance Assessment and Planning Conference (YEPAPC) on 10 November 2022.

In her closing remarks, MARINA Deputy Administrator for Operations Engineer Nanette Villamor-Dinopol urged key officials, and planners of the Agency to continue to thrive, and serve the public with professionalism, integrity, and excellence.

“Let us face the difficult situations as one MARINA family with the same goal and common passion to be worthy of our Oath as “Lingkod Bayan”. Similarly, and for the same reason, we must continue to collaborate for better delivery of public service anchored on professionalism, integrity and excellence.”

During the event, Program Heads of the 12-point Strategic Voyage Plan of MARINA presented their proposed programs for the succeeding years, while noting on how these programs would be implemented.

It should also be noted that the MARINA is currently on the roll to anchor its maritime programs with the socio-economic agenda of the Marcos Jr administration.

Spearheading the program were MARINA Administrator Atty. Hernani Fabia, Deputy Administrator for Operations Engineer Dinopol, and OIC-Deputy Administrator for Planning Ms. Sonia B. Malaluan.
Further, heads of offices – service unit directors, regional directors, and planners of MARINA also joined the discussions.

The activity was organized by the MARINA’s Planning and Policy Service – Public Affairs and Digital Media Office (PPS-PADMO).
